  • A striking early 1900s plaque ring, the rectangular shaped ring studded with natural old mined cut rubies and diamonds. Each stone is slightly different from the last, with varying sizes, shapes and cuts, making the ring a unique cobblestone of gemstone goodness. The hand cut stones have then been painstakingly set into a checkerboard of gold, with the finished look being truly captivating. Due to the age of the piece, we see some nibbles to the gemstones under magnification, and interestingly it appears one of the rubies was lost and replaced with a garnet, but we defy you to spot which one! But overall the ring is in good condition and makes a truly special cocktail ring.
