A beautiful French, Belle Epoque, ring from c.1920. This striking cocktail ring has two unique swirls of antique diamonds that twist into the centre of the ring, that holds an approximate 0.50ct old mined cut diamond in a classic eight claw setting. The diamonds are all of the highest quality with D-F colour and VVS clarity. The centre stone is beautifully clean with crisp facets and no wear to note.
Although the metal is not hallmarked this piece is believed to be of French origin and we agree with a delicate feel to its intricate metalwork we have come to know only from the finest French goldsmiths. A truly exceptional and high quality piece.
