One of the prettiest French medallions we have had the pleasure of offering. This large 18ct gold pendant finds heralds from the Art Nouveau movement in France. The medal depicts an angelic fairy with diamond studded wings, a tiara balanced on her flowing hair, holding what appears to be a bouquet of flowers. Behind the impish girl is the word ‘printemps’, which translates from French as ‘Spring’.  
 
The pendant is modelled in 9.6g of rich yellow gold and offered in excellent antique condition. The only wear being some light wear to the metal and a small chip to one diamond visible under magnification. 
 
The medallion is signed Harden and bares the French hallmark for 18ct, the eagle’s head, gold beneath it.
