A fine example of a traditional St Christopher medallion. Known as the patron saint for travellers there is no guessing why these motifs are so popular today. This, however, is an antique example and not a 1970s mass-produced piece, crafted in France from 18ct gold and beautifully detailed throughout. The front of the medallion depicts the classic scene of Christopher carrying a young boy across a stream, whilst the back shows a fine flowering plant and delicately carved initials we believe to read ‘C.L.’ There is only some light wear to note.
