A unique antique garnet cabochon ring complete with an inlaid garnet halo and button back setting. The deep berry red garnet flashes bright raspberry red as it is turned in the light, complimented beautifully by the square garnet halo that surrounds it. The smaller garnets have age related wear to them with surface abrasions, nicks and fissures visible with close attention, however this really adds to the character of this antique ring.
To the reverse of the ring there is some tarnishing to the button back setting as well as some historical variation in metal tone to the back of the shank, but this is all to be expected in an antique piece.
