A beautiful antique style ring hand crafted by master goldsmiths in Brighton. This mesmerising piece features a large natural emerald to the centre in a beautiful pear cut, which has been foil backed to intensify its natural green body colour. The bottle green gemstone measures a sizable 12.5mm in length, giving it the spread equivalent of a 4ct diamond! The emerald has minor abrasions to the very tip facets visible with magnification but is otherwise offered in excellent condition.
The emerald is framed by two sparkling old mined cut diamonds to the shoulders, reclaimed from broken antique pieces. Set in sterling silver collets the diamonds are hugged by a split shank in a typical Georgian style. This is an heirloom piece that we are sure will be treasured for years to come.
