An important collector’s item. This exceptional ring is thought to have been converted from an antique brooch. There are a few small areas of wear where the new gallery and shank have been attached to the original setting, but this has been well done overall and just adds to the history of this fine piece.
The centre stone is a whopping 50ct+ natural star sapphire cabochon with a gorgeous light grey-blue colour and a captivating six-rayed star that dances across its surface when it catches direct sunlight.
The impressive natural sapphire is surrounded by a double halo of tsavorite garnets and diamonds. The little tsavorite stones add a gorgeous bright pop of colour to the ring and look beautiful with their slightly differing colours and cuts. One of these is missing but we will replace it free of charge upon purchase.
A one of a kind piece that we can’t wait to see in its new home.
