An impressive carre cut cocktail ring in mixed 18ct yellow and white gold, dating to c.1930-1940.The centre stone is a mesmerising topaz weighing approximately 6.90ct. The topaz has this beautiful greeny-blue colour to it that looks like the sea on a warm summer day, only enhanced by the crisp step cut facets that give a hall of mirrors effect to this oh so special gemstone.
Set slightly raised from the halo the ring the topaz is surrounded by a boarder of antique diamonds in white gold. The sparkling diamonds perfectly compliment the topaz whilst not detracting attention from the main focus of the ring.
This heirloom piece is finished with a hand pierced design to the reverse, which adds a delightful design feature. The ring is offered in excellent overall condition.
