An impressive early 1900s cocktail ring in 18ct white gold. The ring in the form of a lozenge or diamond shape spreads an impressive 23.5mm in length on your finger; exquisitely hand set with a cobblestone of sapphires and diamonds in the classic pavé technique. Seven royal blue sapphires draw the eye to the centre of the ring, the largest 6mm in length. The natural gemstones perfectly contrasting the white of the gold and diamonds. The sapphires show surface wear and some nibbles to their facet edges under magnification, but otherwise are in good condition. 
 
Surrounding the sapphires are twinkling old mined cut diamonds, perfectly set into the white gold so that they just melt into the metal. Totalling an estimated 0.72ct the diamonds range in size from 3mm to 1.2mm and are in good overall condition, bright and sparkly with no eye visible inclusions. The diamonds do vary slightly in colour, with some lower colour stones looking almost champagne in tone when turned in the light, but we love this mismatch of colours as it adds such character to the piece. 
 
The perfect ring to take you from day to night. The lozenge ring is finished with a simple white gold band that does nothing to detract from the glamour of the gemstones.
