An incredibly special piece we are ecstatic to offer in the SHJB store. This impressive navette ring spans a sizable 30.5mm in length for maximum finger coverage of glittering rose cut diamonds and precious gemstones. This style of ring was incredibly popular during the 1800s and fine examples are often seen, however we have never seen one with this combination of gemstones, which plays on another big jewellery trend in the 1800s: the acrostic ring. 
 
The centre of the navette holds a sparkling array of natural gemstones to spell out the word ‘dearest’. The gemstones in order being diamond, emerald, amethyst, ruby, emerald, sapphire and topaz. The rainbow of gems are in good overall condition, however due to the more modern cut of the stones we believe some to be replacements. The stones are surrounded by a sparkling border of rose cut diamonds; the natural stones have some internal inclusions alongside small nicks and chips visible with strong magnification, but this is nothing that affects the beauty of the ring and are not eye visible.
