A unique twist on the classic toi et moi style that stole the hearts of the continent a hundred years ago. This Belle Epoque cocktail ring holds two sizable amethysts in individual bezel settings laid across your finger. The stones have the most beautiful light lilac colour to them and are well matched and in good condition with only light wear to their facets visible under magnification.
 
The amethyst stones have been set in an intricately worked halo of contrasting white gold, inlaid with rose cut diamonds. The largest of the diamonds are the two rose cuts to the centre, which each measure approximately 4mm and have a high colour and clarity, free from any notable wear. 
 
This one-of-a-kind ring is finished with a beautiful gallery of scrolled yellow gold to the base, which raises the stones up slightly and allows for light to entre them at every angle. The shank of the ring is two toned gold with the head being yellow gold and the shank white gold, which we suspect is a new addition, although the re-shanking has been done seamlessly.
