A sizable antique aquamarine and diamond halo ring. This striking ring houses a central cushion cut aquamarine with the perfect tropical sea blue colour that shines through its hand cut facets. The aquamarine is in beautiful condition overall with only a few small nibbles to its table and pavilion facets visible with a loupe. 
 
Surrounding the exquisite centre stone is a halo of rose cut diamonds, set into the contrasting white gold head of the ring, which makes them sparkle even more. The diamonds are in good overall condition, however two or three stones appear to have chips when viewed under a microscope, but this does nothing to detract from the beauty of this special piece.
 
The ring is complete with a rich yellow gold shank and gallery, which has been intricately engraved with a paisley pattern that encircles the head of the ring, a beautiful touch of detail. This would make an exceptional cocktail or engagement ring.
