An impressive old cut diamond and sapphire five stone ring c.1900-1940. This is a ring that looks incredible for the carat weight and price point of the stones. Set with an estimates 0.84ct of true antique diamonds, the centre being 0.50ct flanked by two 0.17ct stones. The diamonds are eye clean and incredibly sparkly but do have numerous carbon inclusions visible with magnification. The impressive diamonds are interspersed with deep royal blue sapphires that add a beautiful pop of colour to this large gemstone band.
The gemstones have all been sunken into protective bezel settings that hug their girdles and create a scallop shaped setting. Overall the stones are in good condition, although the sapphires have some surface wear and there are a few small surface reaching inclusions to the diamonds, visible only with a loupe.
