A beautiful Edwardian era opal and diamond cocktail ring in solid 18ct yellow and white gold. The head of the ring is set with a large central opal weighing approximately 4.40ct. The opal is beautiful and lively with a rainbow of fire that dances across its surface as you turn it on your hand. The beautiful antique opal is in excellent overall condition with only some small areas of surface wear to note. 
 
Surrounding the sizable opal is a chunky halo of antique rose cuts. The high crowned diamonds are packed full of that classic antique fire and sparkle beautifully against their white gold mount. The diamonds are on the whole in good condition and are eye clean despite some natural carbon inclusions that are visible with magnification, however there are a few that have small chips or surface reaching fractures, although this doesn’t at all affect the beauty of this timeless cocktail ring.
