A gorgeous vintage ring set with a marquise cabochon opal. The playful natural gemstone has a vibrant blue colour, which flashes every colour of the sun as it is turned in the light. The opal is in excellent condition overall but please note there is a natural dull patch to the table of the opal where there is much less play of colour although this does nothing to detract from the stone. The elongated opal is surrounded by a polished gold halo of metal and finished with a sympathetic split shank. A beautiful piece.
