One of the most beautiful target ring examples we have had the pleasure of handling. This chubby marquise shaped ring is set with a winning combination of opal and diamond, surrounded by a delicate halo of natural, calibre cut, rubies. The central opal forms the shape of the overall ring with its marquise outline and is beautiful quality with the perfect rainbow of colours dancing across its domed crown. 
 
Surrounding the opal is a halo of chunky old mined cut diamonds totalling an estimated 0.40ct in weight, each chunky diamond having that ideal opal culet and hand cut faceting that adds so much character. The diamonds are offered in excellent overall condition.
 
To the very outer, and final, halo there are beautiful raspberry pink rubies. Each stone has been carefully hand cut to slot in perfectly next to the last in a continuous boarder of gemstones, indicative of the Art Deco era. These stones too are offered in excellent overall condition.
 
This impressive ring is complete with a delicate scrolled gallery and a smooth back that makes it a dream to wear. The simple gold shank is every so slightly oval in shape, which makes it hard to accurately size, however it is an approximate M – M 1/2 and sizable.
