A captivating early 1900s moonstone and diamond ring. The centre stone is a gorgeous moonstone cabochon in a desirable ‘moval’ shape, the shimmering gemstone held secure by six double claws. The moonstone is framed by delicate tapering shoulders in platinum, the triangular shaped shoulders studded with six old mined cut diamonds, leading to a delicate knife edge shank. There is some light surface wear to the moonstone as well as a small nick to one of the old cut diamonds, but aside from this and some age related wear to the metal the ring is in beautiful condition.
