A truly exceptional moonstone necklace from the Victorian era. This striking necklace is packed full of large collection quality moonstones, the largest measuring 15mm in length. The moonstones are smooth cabochons domed on both the crown and the pavilion for the ultimate comfort and maximum adularescence. The moonstones are on the whole in excellent antique condition with only a little surface wear and some natural inclusions to note; however the centre stone appears to be a replacement with a slightly different setting to the others that almost appear to float on your neck with fine rims of yellow gold holding them securely to one another.
 
The moonstones are strung onto a fine antique chain with a classic figaro link, whose texture adds a beautiful design feature to this collection piece. The chain is 20” in length and is completed with original clasp and a tag hallmark.
