A beautiful sapphire and diamond trilogy ring in 18ct gold. Dating to c.1920-1940 this darling piece is a twist on a modern classic. The centre stone is truly remarkable in a unique octagonal step cut that really draws the eye in. The natural gemstone has a beautiful crystal and feather inclusion that runs across the table, something for gemmologists to geek out at, and is offered in good overall condition despite some nibbles to the girdle and facet edges. Sat either side of the sapphire is a sparkling natural diamond, similarly included to the sapphire, for that timeless trilogy ring design. The ring sits comfortably low to the finger and is finished with an 18ct yellow gold shank.
