Toi et moi rings are steeped in romanticism; traditionally symbolising two souls coming together. The pearl is often used to symbolise purity, whilst diamonds are said to encapsulate passion and devotion. The soft scrolled outline almost gives the impression of an infinity sign and gives this piece a really feminine look.

The stones are both incredibly high quality, the old cut diamond being of a high colour and excellent clarity. The only inclusions to note is a very very small cloud of crystals on the table of the stone, but even under magnification these are hard to spot. The diamond is a sizable 4.2mm and approximately 0.30ct.

The piece is set in un-marked platinum and is c. 1910-1920.
