A special old mined cut cluster ring in 18ct yellow and white gold, c.1900-1915. Set with an estimated 0.75ct of chunky antique diamonds the centre diamond has a large spread of 5mm, which is akin to a half carat stone, surrounded by a halo of smaller hand cut diamonds. The diamonds are bright and white with lots of brilliance and have no eye visible inclusions, despite a carbon inclusion to the centre stone and a chip to one of the smaller diamonds.
The head of the ring is fashioned in white gold, which really emphasises the colour of the diamonds, whilst the shank and gallery are modelled in a more traditional yellow gold. A timeless ring that would make a beautiful engagement ring option.
