A captivating diamond and ruby horseshoe ring. The head of the ring is antique and mid 1800s, however it has been lovingly converted into a ring with the addition of a more modern 14ct gold shank, which is stamped 585 to the outside of the band.
The head of the ring is a lucky horseshoe and would likely have begun life as a stick pin or brooch. The centre of the horseshoe holds a fiery old cut diamond weighing approximately 0.18ct. The diamond is a delightful oval shape held secure by a bespoke bezel and surrounded by a horseshoe halo of further old cut diamonds and rubies. The gemstones are in good overall condition with only one smaller diamond being slightly chipped. A beautiful good luck token to wear everyday.
