A beautiful old mined cut solitaire ring in 18ct white gold. Although hallmarked for 2012, the centre stone is a true antique stone from c.1800 it has been set into a sympathetic bezel setting with small, brilliant cut, diamonds to the shoulders, that gives the impression of an original Edwardian piece.
The centre diamond is likely an heirloom stone that has been lovingly re-purposed into an engagement ring, and we can see why. The diamond is estimated at 0.50ct and is bright and lively with a high VS clarity and just a slight yellow tint to its antique facets. Offered in excellent condition.
