A truly gorgeous opal lozenge ring in rich yellow gold, with worn hallmarks dating it to Chester 1925. This ring is truly captivating, set with a large lozenge cut opal with exceptional patchy play of colour dancing across its milky-white surface. We believe the opal to be original to the mount and overall, it is in excellent condition for 100 years old, however there are two small dents to the table of the gemstone that must be noted. However, other than this the ring is offered in excellent condition and is truly an heirloom piece.
