This ring had us at hello and we just couldn’t not bring it into stock for you. Dating to c.1880-1910 the 18ct yellow gold ring is beautifully detailed throughout, with quintessential scrolling gold enveloping the glowing green emeralds to the centre.
The centre stone is a good-sized emerald in the traditional cut, flanked by two antique pear cut stones. All the gemstones have a beautiful light bluish-green tone and a glow from within that only the finest emeralds possess. One pear shape does appear to be a replacement and there is evidence of historic glue work around the setting, however it is very much secure and this is only noticeable with a loupe. Aside from this and some superficial nibbles to the gemstone facets, the ring is offered in excellent condition.
