An unusual antique mourning pendant in rich yellow gold. This pendant is beautifully detailed throughout with ornate chased gold work radiating from the central hairwork locket to the paisley patterned reverse and even the jump loop that is attached.
 
The pendant is hollow and does show some evidence of leadwork to the join between the front and back panels; as well as some small holes, which lead us to believe this was originally a brooch or pin, but overall is in beautiful antique condition.
