An exceptional Victorian ring set with a vibrant almandine garnet in a rare octagonal cut. The striking step cut stone flashes a deep raspberry red as it is turned in the light and is in excellent antique condition with only some superficial nibbles to the facet edges. Whilst the garnet is beautiful its setting is possibly even more so with intricate swirls of gold delicately encircling the stone and working its way down the shoulders like a grown vine of ivy. The ring is crafted from solid 15ct yellow gold and bares an antique hallmark.

Please note, this ring can be sized but the hallmark may be compromised due to its position.
