An antique pearl inlaid ring in 18ct gold. The pearl is slightly irregular in shape with a baroque feel, perfectly housed in a buttery 18ct yellow gold setting, which has been bespoke made to fit it like a glove. To the reverse we can see that the pearl was pierced to set, which is a common style of setting for these unique organic gems, however the stone has also been glued into the setting as a procaution. Offered in excellent antique condition.
