A firm favourite in the SHJB office we are proud to offer this exceptional pink sapphire and diamond cluster ring. Dating to the early 1900s the exquisite piece is set with a natural pink sapphire to the centre in a closed back setting. The sapphire has a beautiful bubble gum pink colour to it, enhanced by the metal that sits behind and its unusual octagonal cut. Unfortunately, there is a chip to the table of the sapphire, which has been noted in the price, but this does nothing to detract from the beauty of this very special ring.
 
The sapphire is surrounded by a halo of chunky old mined cut diamonds in a scalloped boarder of white gold. The sparkling antique stones only get better as you look at them under a loupe, their hand cut facets and open culets truly stealing your heart. It is thought there is one replacement stone but this has been well matched despite its slightly more modern cutting style. A beautiful ring we will be truly sad to see go.
