A beautiful vintage pink sapphire and diamond cluster ring. The centre stone is a vivid bubble-gum pink sapphire, estimated at 0.70ct the gemstone has some beautiful natural inclusions. The pink sapphire has likely been reclaimed from another piece as the faceting style leads us to believe it is older than the mount. Offered in good overall condition the sapphire has some surface reaching fractures and small nibbles when viewed with magnification.
Surrounding the sapphire is a low-profile halo of diamonds. The brilliant cut stones, totalling just shy of a half carat in weight, are exceptional quality, bright and lively. The ring is finished with a timeless yellow gold shank.
To the inside of the band there is the remains of a hand etched message/ date. Unfortunately, the sentiment has been lost to time, but we can feel this was a very special piece.
