The swallow and anchor traditionally has strong naval connections; the anchor said to symbolise home and the swallow the soul of the sailor. It is possible that this ring started life as a brooch or stickpin, given by a sailor to his sweetheart before he set sail.

The ring is a small size, likely the signet ring for a women, but can easily be sized up to any size you require.
