A truly special late Victorian double heart ring. This romantic piece features two gem-set hearts that are bound together with a halo of old cut diamonds. One heart is set with an exceptional quality, royal blue, sapphire and the other a blood red ruby. Both the ruby and sapphire are exceptional colours, perfectly balancing one another in their rich yellow gold setting. We love the idea that this symbolised the union of two different souls coming together and it would make a beautiful promise ring or engagement ring.
The hearts are mounted onto a classic 18ct yellow gold shank with subtle detailing to the shoulders. Currently a size H ½ (US 4), however it could comfortably be sized up to around a size L (US 5.5), or rocked as a pinky, which we equally love.
Please note that the hallmarks may be compromised with a significant re-size.
