A striking belle epoque ring in 9ct gold. The ring centres around three bezel set precious gems, two old mined cut diamonds either side of a beautiful reddish-pink ruby. The head of the ring is modelled primarily in white metal, but the ruby has been specially set in a yellow gold collet, which really makes it stand out, contrasting beautifully with its raspberry colour.
The trilogy of centre stones is surrounded by a fine boarder of rose cut diamonds. Each diamond has been carefully hand set into its own individual collet setting, giving the boarder of the ring a scalloped edge that we just adore. There are a few small areas of to the setting and gemstones visible with a loupe but this is very much consistent with the age of the piece and overall the ring is offered in excellent condition.
