A pretty 9ct gold ring in a classic toi et moi style. Each component of the ring holds a fine quality ruby surrounded by a halo of sparkling rose cut diamonds. The raspberry toned rubies are held securely in four claw settings which position them slightly above the diamond halo that surrounds them, as a result there is some softening to the table facets and a couple of small nicks visible with a loupe, but this wear is not eye visible and does nothing to detract from the beauty of the piece. The ring is finished with a beautiful waved band that perfectly frames the two ruby and diamond clusters; the band is a little oval in shape (likely the result of a significant size up at some point in the ring’s history) but this is nothing of concern and the ring fits beautifully.
