A stunning antique carpenters pencil case in solid 9ct yellow gold. This attractive piece is made by Sampson Mordan, who was a British silversmith and a co-inventor of the first patented mechanical pencil, so it comes from an incredibly fine pedigree and is a true piece of history. This tactile piece measures an impressive 83mm in length, making it the perfect elongated pendant with a secret only you will know. Overall the pencil is offered in good condition, however there is a small dent to the base of the metal and some light tarnishing to the gold.
