For sale is a timeless, art deco, halo ring. The ring has been crafted from un-marked 18ct white gold, although there appears to be remanence of a yellow gold plating at some point. Set with a beautiful crown that, although high, doesn’t catch on anything or make the ring difficult to wear.
At the centre of the ring is a sapphire, which is comprised of a natural sapphire crown and a created sapphire pavilion. The sapphire is a gorgeous, deep, blue and a very pretty cut. There is some heat damage to the surface of the stone, which is clear under magnification but not to the naked eye and shouldn’t detract from your enjoyment of the piece at all, this has been reflected in the price.
The centre stone is surrounded by a sparkling halo of rose cut diamonds, which are all natural and in excellent condition. The halo measures 7.5mm x 8mm, with the central stone measuring 5mm x 4mm.
The ring is a UK size R ½ (US 8 7/8) and could be either sized up to V ½ (US 11) or down to an N (US 6.5).
A real bargain price for a true art deco piece.
