A truly exceptional Art Deco toi et moi ring in platinum. The head of the ring holds two pear cut stones, a diamond and a synthetic blue sapphire.
 
The diamond is truly delightful with a slightly more elongated profile in comparison to the sapphire, with chunky antique facets and a large open culet, which gives it some beautiful character. The diamond is a warmer colour, estimated as a K-L with a tint of yellow, however this is common of true antique stones as many were mined from Nitrogen rich soils, so is a fantastic indicator of the authenticity of the piece. The diamond is in good overall condition but does have one very minor nick to the tip, only visible when you closely inspect with a loupe.
 
Contrasting the diamond is an antique cut sapphire with the perfect royal blue body colour. The sapphire is in excellent antique condition and the perfect paring to the old mined cut pear.
 
The stones are mounted into a bespoke cross over setting with eight claws that hug their outline to perfection and finished with ten additional diamonds set to the shoulders.
 
Currently the ring is a small size I but could happily be sized up or down. The maximum size we would recommend taking this ring up to would be an M (US 6).
