A sizable two row ring set with antique sapphires and diamonds. Estimated to date from the turn of the last millennium this ring is truly timeless in design. To one side of the shank there are five deep teal sapphires, whilst to the other an approximate 0.36ct of old mined cut diamonds. The stones are in excellent overall condition with only a few superficial nibbles to their antique facets visible under magnification. We do however, believe that the centre most diamond is a historical replacement as it is a transitional cut opposed to an old mined cut like the others, but this is still in-keeping with the period of the piece and was likely replaced in the 1930s/40s.
The captivating gemstones are held in perfect claw settings with ornate goldwork to the shoulders that only adds to the feminine beauty of this special ring.
