A lovely antique sapphire ring in 9ct gold, assayed for Chester. The ring is a delightful gradient of natural sapphires, from the light cornflower blue centre stone to the deep royal blue end stones. Each sapphire is set in its own bespoke claw setting, curving comfortably around the hand on a closed back band. It appears as though the ring may have been re-shanked. Offered in good antique condition despite a small nick to the table of the centre stone. A lovely antique piece.
