A stunning late Victorian monogrammed signet ring. The head of the ring is a beautiful greyish-blue sardonyx plaque that has been expertly hand engraved with the initials E.B.S in classic gothic writing. The hardstone is set into a chunky yellow gold mount weighing 6.3g of 15ct gold, with beautiful shoulder detailing. Overall, the ring is in excellent condition with only some superficial wear and light pitting to the metal visible under magnification, which is expected with age.
