A beautiful quality double snake ring in solid 18ct gold. Unusually for this style of ring it is a small size I, which makes it the ideal piece if you have been looking for a high quality snake ring for a smaller finger.
Dating to the late 19th century this beautiful ring depicts two snakes coiled around one another. Each snake is set with a glittering old mined cut diamond to the head, which total an approximate 0.16ct. The diamonds are in good overall condition and packed with a beautiful sparkle, despite one very small surface reaching fracture.
The ring doesn’t have a full set of hallmarks but does have a small date letter to the reverse of one snake’s head, which dated it to 1872. We have tested the ring to 18ct gold and it weighs an impressive 6.8g. A beautiful, luxury, antique ring.
