An absolutely gorgeous antique sapphire and diamond band. This spectacular ring has been set with three deep royal blue sapphires, each hand cut into a classic old cut cushion, with the total sapphire carat weight estimated at a little over 1.5ct. The sapphires have a wonderful colour to them with no eye visible inclusions and lots of life; but do have the expected worn facets to the table expected with an antique ring, apparent under magnification only. 
 
The wonderful sapphires, each set in their own 18ct yellow gold bezel, are sandwiched by four chunky old mined cut diamonds, each 2mm. The diamonds are bright and white and fiery, enhanced by their white gold collets, and the deep blue of the diamonds.
 
Modelled in 18ct yellow and white gold the ring dates to c.1900. The shank of the ring is in good condition; however, it is slightly mishappen, which means that the ring, whilst measuring an M on the ring sizer, is more like a size O. We can round the shank for you before we post, but we like to leave this in case the ring requires a re-size.
