A striking antique tourmaline ring with a pearl halo. The central tourmaline has a beautiful pinkish-orange hue to its hand cut facets, and wonderfully lively despite softening and nibbles to the table facets noted when viewed with magnification. The bezel set stone is surrounded by a scalloped halo in rich 18ct yellow gold, studded with creamy half pearls that give the ring a romantic and feminine feel.
The antique ring sits low to the finger for maximum comfort and is accented by a timeless split shank. The shank of the ring is slightly out of shape as a result of the hallmark stamp being applied, but this does nothing to affect the durability of the piece and is, in our opinion, an interesting insight into the ring’s history.
