An usual Edwardian ring in 18ct yellow gold, topped with white gold. This striking piece has a strong geometric outline and is set with three bright red rubies and four small diamonds. The central ruby is a natural stone; however, we believe the two flanking rubies are synthetic stones, either added as a replacement or to save on cost, however only a gemmologist would be able to tell the difference. The rubies have the most perfect deep pinky-red colour that stands out beautifully against the white metal.
In-between the rubies the small diamonds add a subtle sparkle to the head of the ring. The diamonds are in good condition overall, however two are warmer in colour than the others.
Overall the ring is in good condition, however the pave settings to the stones are worn with time, although all stones are secure and this doesn’t affect the durability of the ring at all.
