A truly unique 18ct yellow gold and diamond cocktail ring. This one-of-a-kind piece dates to c.1940, the design boasts a strong art deco influence with white gold rays radiating around a trilogy of old mined cut diamonds to the centre. We suspect that this may have been a bespoke re-work request, with the client utilising heirloom diamonds from the 1800s to make a more modern piece in the 40s, and we love the result.
The three centre diamonds total nearly 0.75ct in weight, with the largest stone estimated close to 0.35ct. The diamonds are exceptionally high quality, bright and white with excellent clarity grades and crisp hand cut facets. There is one tiny nick to a diamond visible with a loupe but otherwise the piece is offered in excellent condition.
