An incredibly special antique navette ring in rose gold. The head of the ring is a beautiful marquise shape, adorned with old mined and rose cut diamonds. The centre diamond weighs an estimated 0.17ct and is slightly raised in a multi claw setting, crafted from contrasting white gold. Surrounding this are six further old mined cut diamonds, each stone hand cut and faceted to perfection with high crowns and open culets.
 
However, the real focal point has to be the two large rose cut diamonds that make up the points of the ring. Each diamond is perfectly imperfect and looks almost like a portrait cut stone, with such minimal faceting that you can see down through the stone to your skin, creating a beautiful design feature.  
 
The diamonds are in good overall condition with no eye visible inclusions, however with a loupe you can see a small nick to the central stone and also a chip to the very tip of one rose cut diamond, although these aren’t at all detrimental to the piece. To the inside of the shank there appears to be a historic repair to one shoulder, but this is well done and not at all noticeable. The only other wear to note is the shank being slightly misshapen, but this can happily be rectified free of charge before shipping.
