A truly unique antique sapphire and diamond ring. This timeless piece centres around five oval cut blue sapphires totalling an estimated 2.17ct in weight. The natural gemstones are gorgeous variations of blue, their hand cut facets full of life as they are turned in the light, with tables flecked with natural feather like inclusions and colour zoning: a gemmologists dream. With magnification we have observed a few small nibbles to the girdles of the gems and chip to the corner of the centre stone; but overall, for the age of the piece the sapphires are in beautiful condition with no eye visible wear.
 
The sapphires have then been accented by sparkling rose cut diamonds to either side of the band. The bezel set diamonds are the perfect art deco influence into this timeless five stone band, offering a beautiful design feature that really makes this ring stand out. Much like the sapphires the diamonds are in good overall condition with a few chips and surface abrasions visible with a loupe but no eye visible wear.
 
The ring is finished with a detailed hand pierced gallery that comfortably curves around your finger with beautiful floral detailing, whilst still offering a low profile. This is a one of a kind ring that is sure to became a future heirloom.
