A tantalising antique cluster ring in rich 15ct rose gold. Thought to be of Danish provenance this fine piece dates to the early 1900s. The centre stone, a vibrant pinkish-red garnet, is held in a traditional multi-claw setting that hugs its oval silhouette whilst adding a timeless design feature. Then surrounding the garnet is a beautiful halo of glittering rose cut diamonds, each hand cut stone set into its own white gold setting, which gives the illusion of a scalloped edge to the head of the ring. The stones are bright and lively with only minimal wear and a few small nicks to the diamonds visible with magnification. The ring is set low to the hand for maximum comfort and finished with a rose gold shank.
