A dainty amethyst heart ring from the Victorian era. This sweet ring was possibly the betrothal or promise ring from a courtier to his sweetheart, beautifully romantic and delicate in style. The heart cut amethyst is the perfect royal purple colour, deep and vibrant, and offered in good overall condition with only a few small nicks to the facets visible under magnification. The heart it set into a fine milgrained bezel with a thin yellow gold shank. The ring is hallmarked as 15ct gold.
