A beautiful, mid-Victorian, heart pendant in hollow 9ct rose gold. This three-dimensional pendant has beautiful hand engraved ivy leaves across the entire front and back, which is in beautiful condition. Ivy leaves were often seen in Victorian jewellery and were used to send a secret message of fidelity and eternal life, so this could well have been a gift from a courter to his sweetheart, or from a husband to his wife as an anniversary gift. It was clearly very well kept as it is in perfect condition and ready for its new owner.
